The creative couple Stine and Teit and their young son Nemo leave the urban life in Copenhagen behind, trading the comforts of the city for a sustainable shelter in the middle of a remote, Swedish forest. They hope to reignite the spark in their relationship and find themselves as individuals, while they document their new lifestyle in an ongoing podcast series.
One day, Nemo disappears in the woods, and when Stine finds him again, he is frightened of her, insisting that she is not his mother. Their new surroundings begin to become increasingly hostile, and soon old grudges and selfish desires begin to take over, forcing them to confront their own egos.
