Mikkel and Louise go on a well-deserved all-inclusive holiday to Gran Canaria with their two daughters. But reality suddenly takes a turn when they accidentally hit a man with their car. When he later shows up at their hotel and asks for help, they decide to assist him. But as they get involved, their well-intentioned values are put to the test and they are soon forced to confront themselves with the fundamental questions: what does it really mean to be a good person and how much should they risk to help a person in need?
