Both critics and buyers attending the Cannes Film Festival have taken Vinterberg´s competition film
THE HUNT to heart. The interest and sales of THE HUNT have been massive after the press and official screenings at the Cannes Film Festival during the weekend.
Sales Company TrustNordisk has closed a large number of territories so far - with Italian distributor BIM Distributione as the latest.
"The reviews have been overwhelming and so has the interest from buyers. We are happy and proud that this film will get a world-wide release and hope that the international audience will embrace the film as much as the industry here in Cannes," says Rikke Ennis, CEO at TrustNordisk.

Written by Thomas Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm and starring Mads Mikkelsen, THE HUNT, tells the story of a man who fights against a lie that threatens to destroy his life.
THE HUNT is produced by Sisse Graum Jørgensen and Morten Kaufmann for Zentropa in co-production with Film i Väst and Zentropa International Sweden with support from The Danish Film Institute, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Eurimages, Nordic Film & TV Fund, The Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Television and the MEDIA programme of the European Union.
Domestic distribution is handled by Nordisk Film. TrustNordisk handles international sales.
