TrustNordisk sells Trier in Toronto

Whilst his latest feature MELANCHOLIA was screening to much applaud, Lars von TrierĀ“s upcoming project NYMPHOMANIAC was picked up by several buyers during Toronto International Film Festival.
 
Gutek Film from Poland, Aero Films from Czech, Independenta Film '97 from Romania and Insomnia from Ex-Yugoslavia has secured the rights for a theatrical distribution in the Eastern European territory with Russian distributor Central Partnership already on board prior to Toronto. Additionally, during Toronto, Wild Bunch picked up the title for Benelux and latest distributor joining is Artificial Eye from the UK:

TrustNordisk expects to close further deals in the nearest future and to have a script of NYMPHOMANIAC available early next year. Principal photography is preliminary scheduled to take place during summer 2012. 
 
MELANCHOLIA, which is almost sold out, is currently being releasing across the world with great figures to follow; Over 100.000 movie-goers have flocked to see MELANCHOLIA in both France and Russia, Wild Bunch in The Netherlands announces that the film is still in their Top 20 after four weeks, currently placed number 12, and during this fall the film will open in UK (Sept. 30th), Germany (Oct. 6th), Spain (Nov. 4th), US and Canada (Nov. 11th) and Australia (Dec. 26th).
