Christian E. Christiansen´s new action-drama ON THE EDGE not only impresses international reviewers with its adrenaline high car racing sequences and strong young cast but also gains great interest from international distributors.
ON THE EDGE which had its world premiere at International Film Festival Rotterdam has been sold to France (Films Distribution), Russia (P & I Films), Japan (Transformer, Inc) and Former Yugoslavia (Discovery film and video distribution).

With a talented young cast starring the two Scandinavian shooting stars in Berlin 2014, Danish actress Danica Curcic (THE BRIDGE, 2013; THE ABSENT ONE, 2014), Norwegian born actor Jakob Oftebro (KON-TIKI, 2012; IN ORDER OF DISAPPEARANCE, 2014) and Berlin Shooting star of 2009 Cyron Melville (A ROYAL AFFAIR, 2012 and THE BORGIAS, 2013), ON THE EDGE combines high speed action sequences with a strong drama about love, trust and solidarity.
Since his debut feature LIFE HITS in 2006, Christiansen has directed six features including two American produced features (THE ROOMMATE, 2011 (US box office no. 1) and WHERE THE DEVIL HIDES, expected 2014). In 2007 he was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Short Film, Live Action category for his film AT NIGHT. ON THE EDGE is his 7th feature film.
ON THE EDGE is produced by the Zentropa Group in co-production with M2Film, Zentropa International Sweden and Film i Väst. With support from the Danish Film Institute, TV2 Denmark and the West Danish Film Fund. Developed with support from the Media Programme of the European Union.
Domestic release is set for June 26th 2014 through Nordisk Film Distribution.
