Rolling off the EFM, TrustNordisk has inked more sales on Christian E. Christiansen´s car racing drama “On The Edge.”
The film, which world-preemed at Rotterdam and played in Berlin, toplines Jakob Oftebro and Cyron Melville as two best friends addicted to car racing whose lives are turned upside down after they cause the death of a young girl.
Pic was acquired for Russia (P & I Films), Japan (Transformer, Inc) and Former Yugoslavia (Discovery film and video distribution). It was previously nabbed by Films Distribution for France.
Cast features Danish actress Danica Curcic (“The Absent One”) and Norwegian born actor Jakob Oftebro (“In Order of Disappearance”) who were both named Shooting Stars at this year´s Berlinale. Cyron Melville (“A Royal Affair), a Shooting Star of 2009, also toplines.

“On The Edge” is produced by Zentropa Group in co-production with M2Film, Zentropa Intl. Sweden and Film i Vast.
Christiansen´s credits include two U.S. pics, “The Roommate,” and the upcoming “Where The Devil Hides.” Christiansen´s 2007 short, “At Night” earned an Oscar nomination.
