When Donostia Zinemaldia Festival De San Sebastian starts today for the 59th time, it will be with Swedish director Björn Runge in the official selection with his HAPPY END as one of the 13 titles selected for Competition.
HAPPY END is about people who are trying to liberate themselves from destructivity and presents some of the finest acting talents in Sweden; Ann Petrén, Gustaf Skarsgård, Peter Andersson, David Dencik, Johan Widerberg and Malin Buska. Director Björn Runge, producer Madeleine Ekman, editor Lena Runge and actors Ann Petrén, Peter Andersson, Malin Buska and Gustaf Skarsgård will be visiting the festival to present the film.

Also screening is David Mackenzie's feature starring Eva Green and Ewan McGregor PERFECT SENSE, which premiered in Sundance this year. Telling the love story of a chef (McGregor) and an epidemiologist (Green), who is losing their sense of taste and smell, PERFECT SENSE will be screened in the section Culinary Zinema; Film and Gastronomy. David Mackenzie himself will be visiting the festival to present the film.
