Vendetta Film's Jill Mcnab: “We are delighted to be releasing TASTING MENU in Australia and New Zealand. The film has a real heart, and the food on screen makes you wish you were in the restaurant yourself - it´s perfect for today´s audiences who are so food-obsessed!”

TASTING MENU is the story about Marc and Rachel, who booked a table at the best restaurant in the world. After a long time waiting for the booking the day finally arrives and it´s the last night before the restaurant closes forever. The thing is just that Marc and Rachel are no longer together. They have been separated for a year. Not willing to miss this unique culinary event, however, they both decide to meet at the restaurant - and it becomes a night of nothing you would have expected.

Director Roger Gual, who has won a number of awards for his two previous feature films SMOKING ROOM (2002) and REMAKE (2006) is joined by an ensemble cast; Stephen Rea, who received his breakthrough in 1992 for THE CRYING GAME, winning him an Academy Award-nomination, Fionnula Flanagan, known for her part opposite Nicole Kidman in THE OTHERS (2001), Claudia Bassols being one of Spain´s promising stars along with Jan Cornet, who was last seen in Almodóvar's THE SKIN I LIVE IN (2011) and Rodrigo Cortés RED LIGHTS (2012), and Togo Igawa from MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA (2005) and THE LAST SAMURAI (2003), amongst others.

TASTING MENU is produced by David Matamoros for Zentropa International Spain and Subotica Limited. Executive producers are Peter Garde and Peter Aalbæk Jensen.
