SWEDISH-KURDISH BEKAS STEALS THE ATTENTION IN CANNES

Upcoming project BEKAS has proven to be an astonishing success in Cannes. Not even launched on an international market yet, BEKAS' trailer alone has made numerous of territories commit.

Arrow Films (UK), Rialto Distribution (Australia, New Zealand), Cineart (Benelux), Israel (Lev Films), Sonamu Pictures co., ltd. (South Korea), Serenity Entertainment Int. (Taiwan) and Falcon Films (Middle East) have acquired all rights to the little story about two homeless Kurdish boys, who in the early 90´s of Saddam Hussein's regime sneak off to see the film SUPERMAN and decide to go to America on a donkey. BEKAS is Karzan Kader´s feature film debut. Producer is Sonet Film´s Sandra Harms, who´s been selected at this year´s Producer on The Move, and executive producer is Peter Possne.
