EXCLUSIVE: TrustNordisk has acquired world sales rights to upcoming Norwegian feature animation Unstoppable.

The Nordic sales firm will launch the title at Cannes this month. It is currently in production in Norway with an English-language voice cast, and is aiming for a spring 2026 release.

3D family animation Unstoppable follows a cell on a journey to find out who she is, inside the vast and mysterious world of the body – that of a 10-year-old boy.

It is directed by Martin Lund, and produced by Ruben Thorkildsen of Norway’s Storm Films. The duo have collaborated on Lund’s previous films, including 2012’s The Almost Man, which won the Crystal Globe for best film at Karlovy Vary; and 2019’s Psychobitch.

Character design on Unstoppable is headed by Barcelona’s Grangel Studio, which has credits including Kung Fu PandaMadagascar and The Prince Of Egypt.

It joins a TrustNordisk slate that includes true story drama The Murder Of Benjamin, about the death of a 15-year-old boy in Norway in 2001; and Paprika Steen’s To New Beginnings starring Tuva Novotny.
