We are very pleased to announce, that U.S. distributor, Magnolia Pictures has picked up Thomas Vinterberg´s THE COMMUNE.
The deal was negotiated between Dori Begley, SVP of Acquisitions at Magnolia Pictures and Head of Sales Susan Wendt from TrustNordisk.

The film celebrated it´s international premiere in Competition at Berlin International Film Festival 2016, where Trine Dyrholm won the Silver Bear for Best Actress for her performance as Anne.
Most recently THE COMMUNE was announced as one of three films, shortlisted as Denmark´s official Oscar entry for the Foreign Language category.

It is written by Thomas Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm who also co-wrote Vinterberg´s previous films SUBMARINO (2010) and THE HUNT (2012).
