Thomas Vinterberg´s Cannes Competition title THE HUNT has been secured French distribution through Pretty Pictures.
The deal was negotiated between Sales Manager at TrustNordisk Nicolai Korsgaard and President of Pretty Pictures, James Velaise.
“We are over the moon to be distributing Thomas Vinterberg's new film in France. We loved the script and are delighted that the film will be in competition in Cannes”, Velaise says about the new acquisition.
Sales Manager Nicolai Korsgaard adds:

Written by Thomas Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm, THE HUNT unites Thomas Vinterberg and actor Mads Mikkelsen for the first time and tells the story about a man fighting against a lie that threatens to destroy his life.
THE HUNT is produced by Sisse Graum Jørgensen and Morten Kaufmann for Zentropa in co-production with Film i Väst and Zentropa International Sweden with support from The Danish Film Institute, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Eurimages, Nordic Film & TV Fund, The Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Television and the MEDIA programme of the European Union.
National distribution is handled by Nordisk Film. TrustNordisk handles international sales.
