TrustNordisk has secured the international sales rights for the upcoming action drama THE QUIET ONES produced by Zentropa and directed by Frederik Louis Hviid (SHORTA, 2020). The film boasts an exciting cast including Danish actors Gustav Giese, Amanda Collin and French actor Reda Kateb.
Copenhagen, 19 May 2023 – We can proudly announce our new collaboration with Zentropa, as we take on the international sales rights for the upcoming action drama THE QUIET ONES. Drawing inspiration from true events, a notorious Danish robbery, THE QUIET ONES tells the captivating story of a group of young men, planning an audacious and ambitious heist to pull off the nearly impossible coup.
About the director
Frederik Louis Hviid made his directorial debut with the action-packed feature SHORTA (2020), which garnered critical acclaim and international recognition at prestigious film festivals including Venice, Zürich and Glasgow Film Festival. SHORTA was shortlisted as Denmark's submission for the 2021 Oscars. THE QUIET ONES will serve as Hviid's second feature film, scripted by Anders Frithiof August (THE FORTUNATE MAN, 2018, THE MARCO EFFECT, 2021) and the first to be produced by esteemed Danish production company Zentropa with producer Kasper Dissing (ANOTHER ROUND, 2020).
The film is co-produced by Lizette Jonjic, co-producer behind Academy Award-winner ANOTHER ROUND (2020) and Jean-Christophe Reymond behind Cannes Palme d'Or-winner TITANE (2021).

THE QUIET ONES features an exciting cast comprising of Danish talent Gustav Giese (RIDERS OF JUSTICE, 2020), acclaimed Danish actress Amanda Collin (THE BASTARD, 2023; RAISED BY WOLVES 2020-2022) and internationally recognized French actor Reda Kateb (THE SPECIALS, 2020; ZERO DARK THIRTY, 2012; A PROPHET 2009) currently active in the Cannes-selected drama OMAR LA FRAISE (UK title: THE KING OF ALGIERS, 2023).

Synopsis:
As the financial crisis hits Europe in 2008, a group of Danish and European men plan to commit the largest robbery ever on Danish soil. THE QUIET ONES is a suspenseful action drama that depicts a group of extremely tenacious, ambitious, and uncompromising robbers who all share the same ambition: to succeed with the impossible - despite major obstacles, internal conflicts, secret agendas, and personal costs.
