TrustNordisk is proud to announce that we have acquired world sales rights for the German documentary THE TALENTED MR. F. just ahead of the ongoing AFM 2025. Directed by Igor Plischke and produced by Christopher Zwickler and Solmaz Sohrabi of Berlin based production company Flimmer, the film is a gripping documentary following two young filmmakers who discover that their animated short film has been stolen, rebranded, and submitted to international festivals under another name.
In a notable collaboration, internationally renowned writer, director and producer Roland Emmerich (INDEPENDENCE DAY, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, 2012) has joined the project as an executive producer, supporting the film’s international rollout.
The Talented Mr. F. was shot in Berlin and the U.S. earlier this year and it will have its market debut at AFM 2025.

F. is directed by Igor Plischke and produced by Christopher Zwickler and Solmaz Sohrabi from Flimmer in collaboration with MDR, ARD Kultur, RBB, HR & BR and executive produced by Roland Emmerich. Creative Producers are Moritz Henneberg, Julius Drost and Nikita Fedosik. The cinematography was handled by Benedikt Hugendubel, with editing by Sarah-Christin Peter and music composed by Chrisna Lungala. The documentary portrays Moritz Henneberg, Julius Drost, and Samuel Felinton. International sales are handled by TrustNordisk.
