“What combination is better than world class cuisine, the dream of achieving the impossible and drama on the highest level. We are so proud to represent this fine documentary on one of the world´s finest restaurants and happy for the great interest from international buyers”, says CEO at TrustNordisk Rikke Ennis.
Copenhagen based NOMA is known for its new Nordic food concept and for continuously pushing the gastronomic boundaries beyond the imaginable, functioning as both two star Michelin restaurant and top of the line food lab in the constant search for new tastes and ingredients.
In NOMA MY PERFECT STORM we are welcomed into a high paced world of passion, color explosions and food extravaganza, as we follow new Nordic gastronomy frontrunner Rene Redzepi.
In NOMA MY PERFECT STORM director Pierre Deschamps has followed René Redzepi in all aspects of his life over a period of three years, creating a multifaceted portrait of the man behind NOMA.
With automatic access to genius, René Redzepi plays with wilderness and interprets a forgotten edible world into a culinary language we all understand. In his search for belonging, Redzepi, a modern ugly duckling, bullied by his peers, found his home in the no man´s land and transformed into a swan. Noma my perfect storm is a creative journey into the unique mind of René Redzepi.
NOMA MY PERFECT STORM is produced by Etta Thompson Deschamps for Documentree Films in collaboration with Red Rental ApS, Good Rolling Films, Blenkov & Schønnemann Pictures and Øresund Film Commission.
