UK distributor Momentum have acquired the rights to epic action-adventure ESCAPE after the screening of a 3-minutes long promo during Berlinale´s EFM.
Also during EFM Middle East got on board with Gulf Film as distributor.

ESCAPE takes us back to the year 1363 when the plague torn apart a country. Half the population has died and people are trying to escape death and misery, searching for a better life elsewhere. But it´s difficult to find places to escape to and in the mountains where lawless gangs rule human life isn´t much worth.
Director is Roar Uthaug, who debuted with COLD PREY and producers are Martin Sundland and Are Heidenstrøm from Norwegian production company Fantefilm Fiksjon AS. The company was established in 2006 with the purpose of producing widely commercial entertainment-films. Also produced by Fantefilm Fiksjon is the Tarantino´sk action-comedy JACKPOT, which is based on an original story by bestseller author Jo Nesbø and which was just sold during EFM to UK (Metrodome) and Germany (NFP).
