The Here After, the directorial debut of Swedish director Magnus von Horn, has locked up a pair of major territory deals following its premiere in Cannes' Directors' Fortnight sidebar.
Soda Pictures in the U.K. and Atnine Film Co. of South Korean have snatched up the drama, in which a man returns home to his small tight-knit community after serving time in prison. But his crime has been neither forgotten, nor has he been forgiven.
TrustNordisk is handling international sales on the film and has several other territories in negotiation. Nour Films is handling distribution of The Here After in France. Nordisk Film will bow the picture in Sweden, with Gutek Film handling Poland.
