CALL GIRL has been acquired by Pretty Pictures, securing the film French distribution.
The political thriller starring Pernilla August is directed by one of the most celebrated and critically acclaimed directors in Sweden, Mikael Marcimain, who has won numerous awards for his TV-series HOW SOON IS NOW (2008), THE LASER MAN (2005) and THE GRAVE (2004). CALL GIRL is Marcimain´s directorial debut.
French distributor Pretty Pictures has previously worked with TrustNordisk on PERFECT SENSE (2011) and are also the French distributor of current Cannes Competition-title THE HUNT (2012). CALL GIRL is one of TrustNordisk´s upcoming titles with domestic release this fall.

The film is produced by Mimmi Spång from Garagefilm International AB. She was selected as Producer On the Move 2011 and recently acknowledged for her work with the feature film SEBBE (2010). Cinematographer of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (2008), THE FIGHTER (2010) and TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY (2011) Hoyte van Hoytema is director of photography. The screenplay is written by Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten.
