The drama stars Mads Mikkelsen in his first film for Vinterberg.
TrustNordisk has closed pre-sales to the U.K. and Benelux for The Hunt, the new film from Danish director Thomas Vinterberg (The Celebration).
Arrow Films took U.K. rights to the drama, starring Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), with Wildbunch buying the title for Benelux after seeing a promo in Berlin.
The Hunt is Mikkelsen´s first collaboration with Vinterberg. In the drama, Mikkelsen plays a man falsely accused by his local community who has to fight to get his old life back. The film is currently in post-production.
Mikkelsen latest film, the period drama A Royal Affair from Nikolaj Arcel, premieres in competition at the Berlin film festival on Thursday.
