Being the first production company in the world to launch its own VOD platform, Zentropa proudly presents Zentropaondemand.com. Peter Aalbæk Jensen says about the initiative: “The cultural imperialism has now begun for real!” Zentropa has since its establishment in 1992 manifested itself as a unique production company both internationally and nationally. Zentropa initiated the ground breaking Dogme95 concept and has been awarded at the Cannes and Berlin film festivals and the Oscar Academy Awards. Zentropa has experienced an enormous interest from fans all over the world but the costs of distributing films via traditional media have made it difficult to meet the demand until now.
