13-01-2016

TrustNordisk is very proud to announce that Pierre Deschamp's NOMA - MY PERFECT STORM has been selected for Rotterdam International Film Festival.

The official screening of the film will be on Saturday 6th at 14:00 and will be followed by a Nordic Cooking workshop hosted by Lot Piscaer.

We recently announced that the film has been selected to screen in the Culinary Cinema section at Berlin International Film Festival and in September 2015, the film screened at San Sebastian International Film Festival in the Culinay Zinema section, where it won the award for best documentary.

The film has been sold to US and Canada (Magnolia Pictures), Germany and Austria (NFP), Benelux (September Film Rights), Korea (Atnine Film Co. Ltd.) and Japan (Longride Inc.) with more territories in negotiation. Jour2Fete will be distributing the film in France.

The film follows René Redzepi as he plays with wilderness and interprets a forgotten edible world into a culinary language we all understand. Redzepi, a modern ugly duckling, bullied by his peers, found his home in the no man´s land and transformed into a swan.

NOMA - MY PERFECT STORM is directed by Pierre Deschamps and produced by Etta Thompson Deschamps for Documentree Films in co-production with Red Rental A/S and Good Rolling Films.
